Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is such a wonderfully personal journey, and we are delighted to work with you to deliver something that sets your soul on fire. 

We take on a limited number of commissions every few months,  and it is important that you understand the process and timescale, as well as what we will require from you, before proceeding..

How to commission a piece of jewellery from Boho Silver:

We only take commissions for jewellery designs that are  similar, to previous examples of our work at Boho Silver. All our work is unique and one-of-a-kind. We will not copy, or reproduce, designs from another jeweller or a graphic design , so please do not ask.

When you get in touch we ask that you provide the following in the first instance;

• example/s of our work that you wish to to have similar made
• gemstones that you would wish for inclusion
• whether the work is to be in silver, 9ct gold, 18ct gold (we only offer gold for wax carved/cast designs)
• whether it is an engagement ring, and if there is a timescale.
• a rough idea of budget is helpful
• a description of what you are hoping for

Once we have this information we can schedule a Zoom call (30 mins) to discuss specifics, or discuss via email if preferred.

We will then come back with a plan and quote for the commission within 2 weeks.

This can be tweaked slightly at this stage, but thereafter there will be £45 charge for each additional alteration or change to the design.  Please understand that once the design is being fabricated, no changes can be made.  

When the design has been agreed, there is a 50% non-refundable deposit charged so that we can make a start on your personal piece of jewellery. We will send a payment link for you to do this. We do not accept any other form of payment (to protect ourselves from scams).

The commission will then take approximately 8-10 weeks to complete.

We will keep in touch and will send images during the process, and when completed.  Assuming you are happy with everything we will send a link to make the final 50% payment, plus any postage costs or additional charges agreed.

Please notes that for rings, it is the buyers responsibility to ensure the correct size is ordered. We will send out a ring sizer for you to do this.  Any adjustment to size after it is made will be charged at £45 for a resize

We do not rework existing jewellery or use gemstones other than from our own trusted and ethical suppliers. .
