Sustainable recycled sterling silver and an aged piece of sea glass (note the tiny c - curves on the surface, indicating great age). It is an unusual colour, a shade deeper than aqua.
Mermaids
they were called. Women of the sea. So powerful were they, a single breath could quiet a storm, a single fin bring forth a wave. Fate itself could be suspended by a mermaid’s kindness. Yet even these wild spirits had rules to obey. Neptune, Lord of the Sea, helped maintain the laws of nature, and as such forbade the maidens to use their powers to change fate’s natural course.
This pendant does not legally require hallmarking due to weight, but if we do not sell immediately we will send for hallmarking with our next batch (you can choose to wait for this or not).
To give our customers more choice when purchasing, the listing is for the pendant only, as they might choose to wear with an existing chain or leather thong.
However, we do offer 18” chains with finer or heavier belcher chain with handmade hook closures. The final image shows the two available chains alongside. Please choose your preference from the options shown.
